  • Charities and Non-Profits
    • Michael's of Denver supports many worthy charities and non-profit organizations throughout the year. We discount the venue rental by $500 on weekends at 1770 Sherman Street Event Complex. We donate or discount food service and we advertise. However we simply cannot participate in all the great causes here in Denver. We respectfully ask that you use our "Contact Us" button to requeset support or donations at least 6 months prior to your event so that we may budget for our participation.
  • Prom Policies for the 1770 Sherman Street Event Complex
    • We do not offer non-profit discounts on proms.  The rental fee is $2,500 + $250 cleaning + $250 security.  This is for 8 consecutive hours:  2 to set up, 5 for the event & 1 to clean up.
    • We require 1 chaperone for every 25 attendees.
    • Catering arrangements need to be made through Michael’s of Denver Catering for all food and beverages.  Beverages are $2 per guest, and desserts are $3 per guest, or you may purchase a fixed amount.
    • No one may load in through the front doors.  You must use the Southeast alley door only.
    • All décor installed needs to be removed within one hour after the conclusion of the event.
      • No mylar or paper confetti
      • All boxes must be broken down, and placed in the dumpster.
      • Nothing may be attached to the walls, columns, ceilings or floor. 
      • Zip ties or fishing line may be used to attach to the brass railings.
    • Coat check is available for $1 per guest.  If you man the coat check, 1770 Sherman Street, LLC is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items & you will need to provide your own coat check tickets.
    • No in and out of the building, please.
    • This is a non-smoking facility.  Smoking or drinking alcohol will cause the cancellation of your event.
    • We understand you are working with a committee, and we are happy to work with one person as the contact for your organization.  Please limit your walk through viewings to 2.
